There is somewhat of a revival in a very old film technique (some would say ‘mistake’) called Cross Processing – it’s not for everyone and not for every shot, but I thought a play here might be fun just to give Debbie & Gareth a couple more to think about

Last Saturday I had the immense pleasure of Shooting Debbie & Gareth’s Wedding – starting off in mum’s house before the epic drive (well 100 yard walk) to St. Paul’s church, Monk Bretton; then an actual drive to Waterton Park Hotel for the rest of the day. Debbie & Gareth both repeatedly told me how they hated having their photos taken, mostly as they look bad in photos – they say !!!

Here’s a wee taster of the day, in a few different styles to give them both something to think about for their album

I had a FAB Wedding with Jodie & Richard last Sunday at Tankersley Manor Okay so the weather wasn’t playing ball, and Jodie was in fact somewhat ill (not just the pre-Wedding jitters afterall)

But you can’t keep a great fun loving couple down, especially on their Wedding Day

Here’s a few ‘tasters’ of the day, all processed to my taste to give Jodie & Richard a few ideas for how they may like them to look in their album – their full Proofing Album has gone online too now, but is password protected. The password is NOT their new surname as they want to see them all first to ‘vet’ for anything unfit for public consumption! As soon as that vetting is over any guests who know their surname will be able to view them in our ‘clients’ area’ on the main www.dg-weddings.com website

Congratulations to Jodie & Richard

It’s getting to that time in a Dad’s life when he finally gets shut of his first child   I mean is devastated to see his wonderful daughter leaving home to go to Uni Anyway, yesterday Kirsty & I went to look over Salford Uni and we were both nicely impressed. I took a camera (of course) to capture quite a few shots to show her mum who couldn’t come on the day due to work commitments, and I also took a few just for fun. Here’s some of the fun ones

I’ve been a photographer from way back in the olden days of film use, and have shot pretty much every genre including running my own successful studio where I concentrated on Child portraiture until the latter half of 2009
